Stacy was referred to us by AFIT member Lisa Rhine, president of Yavapai Community College. He attended our recent Presidents’ Party at ACCT, and with the encouragement of his Arizona peers Jackie Elliott and Daniel Corr, decided to apply for membership.

Stacy has been MCC president since July 1, 2019. Prior to that, he served as president of Miles Community College in Miles City, Montana and as Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at Montana State University Billings, which includes a two-year technical college. It was during this tenure that he became passionate about two-year education and helping students attain industry recognized credentials, certificates, and two-year degrees.

Stacy also served as Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and Director of Housing and New Student Programs at Central Washington University, and has worked at Texas Tech University and Northern Arizona University in various capacities.

He earned both a bachelors and master’s degrees from Eastern Montana College (now Montana State University Billings) and a doctorate in higher education leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Stacy also serves as an Associate Consultant for the Strategic Enrollment Planning division of Ruffalo Noel Levitz.

Please join us in welcoming Stacy and Shawn to our alliance!
