CEO Forum & Reps Meeting

Preview AFIT's Learning Design

When: 1.5 days in late February/early March

Where: An AFIT member's campus

Who's invited: AFIT Member CEOs, Reps, and select guests

Meet AFIT's Learning Partners

Participating in the CEO Forum & Reps Meeting will help you gain an understanding of the concepts and strategies used by our learning partners that will be focus areas of the upcoming Summer Institute. During this program, you will have exclusive access to AFIT's Learning Partners, so you can discuss the leadership challenges involved with implementing the concepts and strategies that have enabled them to achieve performance excellence.

Shape the Learning Design

All attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback about the learning partners and their content. Following the event, AFIT uses this feedback to refine the Summer Institute learning design to ensure the program is tightly aligned with teams' needs.

CEOs will also have the opportunity to participate in private sessions with senior executives from the learning partner organizations to better understand the leadership challenges and solutions involved with implementing the concepts that have propelled those partners to high levels of performance.

Build Your Summer Institute Team

Previewing the learning design will give you insights about the unique learning experience AFIT plans to offer at its Summer Institute. This can help you make informed decisions about how to leverage the program's value for your organization, identify team members who would benefit most from the planned learning, and determine how to maximize the program's impact. It will also help you develop and implement a pre-learning plan which will prepare your team members to bring the most back from the Institute.

There is no limit to the number of people you can bring to Summer Institute. Historically, the average team size has been 8 people, but the right team size depends on your organization's needs.

Connect & Collaborate with CEOs Nationwide

During the pre-conference activities, Member CEOs will have the opportunity to attend an in-person CEO Networking Session to connect and collaborate with other Member CEOs to discuss common issues and challenges, share solutions, and learn successful strategies that are driving performance improvement at other colleges, universities, and organizations.

Following the Networking Session, Member CEOs are invited to a private dinner, hosted by AFIT, to allow the conversation to continue.
