Dr. George Timmons Joins AFIT as President of Holyoke Community College

We are delighted to announce that Dr. George Timmons has joined the Alliance for Higher Education (AFIT) as the new President of Holyoke Community College, succeeding Dr. Christina Royal. 

With extensive experience in higher education administration, including his recent role as provost and senior vice president at Columbia Greene Community College, George brings a strong commitment to student success and academic excellence. 

Karen Desjeans will continue to serve as the AFIT Rep for Holyoke College.  

We warmly welcome George Timmons to AFIT and congratulate him on his new role as President of Holyoke Community College. Together, we will work towards advancing our shared mission of providing exceptional higher education opportunities and empowering students to achieve their full potential.
